Should I create a seperate profile for for shots in jpeg and raw or can I use the same one for both?

Sorry, I meant to say jpeg and tiff. It just seemed to me that the jpeg format being lossy would alter the noise patern. Or would the difference be insignificant?

Yes, it is better to build separate profiles for JPEG and RAW/TIFF images, because JPEG image compression changes noise properties and TIFF doesn't.
