Let's see. Input file - TIFF, 60 MB. Output - 30MB.

What is the output file format? JPEG? TIFF? BMP?

What version of Neat Image used?

Sounds like you saved as an 8-bit image instead of a 16-bit one in NeatImage.

Not to mention that it might have been TIFF/RAW and got saved as TIFF/LZW.

(What this means is, that while TIFF images are normally uncompressed , the format supports having an internal compression in the file. This can reduce the file size greatly but it does not use any destructive compression, so there is no change in quality.)
