Many times the noise reduction by Neat Image is so complete that the image can end up looking like a marble statue. Less noise reduction is truly that, incomplete filtration. How about the ability to add textures to images, eg. skin textures, that would provide a realistic appearance to filtered images.

Add texture
There are two approaches that can be used:
- using less noise reduction in some image components (e.g., high freqs) to preserve some fine details/noise, which makes image look more natural;
- adding new details/noise from another image or generating it
You have obviously suggest the second approach and indeed it can be implemented and we will consider adding such a functionality. Personally, however, I often find it possible to do the job using the first approach.
Thank you for the suggestion!
