JPEG2000 Again

Now that the release of Adobe Photoshop CS (aka PS

is expected for November 2003 and it includes JPEG2000, would you please look into making it available as a std. file format in the stand alone Neat Image?

Even though I have the PS Plugin version (Neat Image Pro +), I rather like running NI in the standalone version if I do not need some specific benefit of the PS Plugin version (It seems to run faster??)

Dan, thank you for reiterating your suggestion.

Yes, we will look into the possibility of implementing JPEG2000 support in Neat Image as soon as our current primary development objectives are reached.

Meanwhile, you can the plug-in and Photoshop to make JPEG2000 output. The plug-in is normally no slower than the standalone.
