Dark preview when using linear working space (gamma 1) in PS

Post by Hessu »

I use gamma 1.0 working space in PS. When I start NeatImage pro+ 3.0 plugin the preview picture is totally dark. This makes it very difficult to evaluate right settings?
The same happens of course in the stand alone program also, but NeatImage is my only PS plugin which functions so.
Does Neatimage not recognise the used colour workspace in PS?

In the current version, the input image is supposed to be in sRGB color space with gamma 2.2. Therefore you need to apply gamma correction before processing in Neat Image plug-in.

In the future we will probably add explicit support for linear images in Photoshop plug-in.

Thank you,
