Neat Image auto profile match (Canon G3 mostly)

Post by bartus1 »

Hi,

I use NI 3.0 full version. When used with my Canon 10D files I can see and find ISO setting easily.
Now, I also purchased Canon G3 and could not find an ISO setting anywhere.
I'd like to use auto profile match to G3 because the pictures I am getting from G3 vary in terms ISO setting form one image to another.

I've established my default profile folder. Now, when I load any image to NI it does not pick up any ISO profile, or it is always set to ISO 50.

I've gone through help on this topic, but haven't been able to figure this out.

Thanks in advance for any input.

When you open an image from Canon G3 in Neat Image, do you see the ISO rate in the EXIF information box? If it is not there that means there is no ISO information in the standard location in EXIF data fields.

So, if there is no ISO field in standard EXIF info box how can I overcome this limitation???

Actually, NI indicates that there is no ISO setting in EXIF data. Other software like Irfanview recognize the ISO setting at the very end of EXIF field.
