I have Minolta 414.
I tested work of the program on several pictures. Excellently!
Now I make the profiles for my camera at different ISO.
I think, that it is necessary to do the profiles for all combinations of sharpness and contrast. It is so?
In "help" is told the profile depends as well on "white balance". But for Manual WB it is impossible! (It is too much probable variants) I am right?
I am ready to do this work and to place results here, but to do unnecessary operation I do not want.
NITeam, I ask of advice.
WBR,
MAU.
Minolta 414. Some questions about profiling the device.
Thank you for the kind comments!
In the help file, the device mode parameters that affect noise properties are listed in the order of reducing importance. WB is the least important of all parameters. I believe it would be enough to build profile for different ISO / compression ratio / sharpness. I am not sure about what the contrast setting is doing in this camera; therefore please make your own judgement whether it should be accounted for.
Hope this helps.
