Problems with new layer

Using Neatimage 4.2 Pro+ in Photoshop CS on Windows XP Pro I find that if a create a new layer from a selected area and run the plug in on this new layer that the filter runs but does not complete the operation and hangs. However this does not happen if I run the filter on the background layer itself and did not happen in previous versions of this software. It only hangs on a new layer created from a selected area of the image.

I can't seem to reproduce this on my setup (NI Pro+ 4.2, XP Pro, PSCS). This is what I do:

Open image.
Lasso a random selection.
Right click and do "Layer via Copy". New layer is automatically selected.
Run NI plugin on whole layer using custom profile and Default filter settings.

The NI preview window correctly shows the new layer (in the shape of my lassoed selection, of course) and filters it successfully.

Try to re-download the software, this should help.

Thank you for the assistance. I downloaded the software again and completely uninstalled then reinstalled and the issue is resolved. Thanks again. Very nice product you have here!!!
