Grain Reduction

Kodak Gem Pro has besides Noise Suppression (that sux) also Grain Reduction, in some cases this really works, in other cases it creates strange artifacts.
Anyhow, Grain Suppression would be nice

Is Grain Reduction (or Grain Suppression) something new as compared with regular noise reduction provided by Neat Image? What is the difference?

Grain reduction works great at reducing jpeg artifact.
