Photoshop Elements 3 "Bug"

Have worked extensively with it since the release. Since I downloaded Pro + , things went well until I started getting a "DB API failed to initialize" error message.

Called Adobe, uninstalled, etc, then ended up creating a new profile since they couldn't resolve the problem in the existing profile (wimps), but that left me with a very bizarrely acting IE. All else is fine (except now I need to manually load in the Neat Image plug in.)

Anyone heard of this?

How does that look like exactly? What is working differently with the Neat Image plug-in now?

Thank you,
Vlad

I should have been more clear. Haven't yet loaded in the plug-in. I need to re- install the plug in, manually. Whereas before, when I downloaded the Pro+, it found it's way into photoshop on it's own. Because I re-installed PS, now I have to reinstall NI manually. Have printed out your instructions and will do so. I'll let you know if there are problems afterward.
Does that make sense? Thx,

There shouldn't be any problem. Just re-install the plug-in using the original instruction.

Thank you,
