Hello,
I am new to the digital darkroom and I am embroiled in the learning curve. Here is my situation: I have a Nikon Coolscan 5000 and an Epson r2400 printer. I shoot film and have no plans to shoot digital in the near future. Would Neat Image be of benefit to me if my objective is to print from scanned film? If so is there a profile available for the Coolscan 5000?
Thanks so much for your help.

Would NI help me?
J,
Yes, Neat Image will help you reduce grain in the scanned film. And you do not actually need pre-built profiles for your scanner fort that. Neat
Image will automatically build new profiles as you scan and process scans.
Please take a look at the overall procedure. See step 4, this is where a new profile is built for the current input image. Usually this requires just one-button-click.
Please try to use Neat Image Demo edition. I am sure you will find the filtration workflow very easy.
Hope this helps.
