Stand alone vs plug in

Post by me100finn »

I am debating the purchase of the stand alone vs the plug in for my Elements 4.0. I have Windows XP. Does the plug in work on TIFF and BMP too? Are there features the plug in loses? If I purchase the plug in do I also get the stand alone with it?

Thanks!

after reading a hundred times...here's the answer...

# Home is the standalone edition of Neat Image for home users who process small number of images ($29.90)

# Home+ edition is the the Home edition with the Photoshop-compatible plug-in version of the filter included ($49.90)

Yes, that is correct, the Home+ edition includes both standalone and plug-in.

If you use the plug-in then you can work with any file format supported by Photoshop.
