installation problem in linux under wine

Thanks for a terrific program. I've used it succesfully in linux under win4lin. As I now can run Picture Window Pro under wine almost flawlessly, I tried to install the Neat Image Pro version 5.3 with latest wine (0.9.8) but the installation terminates immediately with error Access violation at address 00409422. Write of address 0040E000. This happened also with wine 0.9.2 and older wine from 200507xx. This also happens with the demo version and some earlier (maybe 4.5) of NeatImage. This is not a big issue for me, as I can run NI with win4lin, but running it from wine would make it possible to launch NI directly from gqview.
I'm running Fedora Core 4.

Could you try to re-build Wine with the following flag:
CFLAGS="-m32"

This may help.

thanks for the tip. I compiled wine again with -m32 but get the same error.
Any other things to try?

Please let me know a bit more about your system (please use the bug report form for that). Also, please describe available cd- and dvd-drive(s), this may be important.
