If I go back to install v5.1, then I'm OK. I run Windows XP Home with all the latest service packs, upgrades, patches, etc. I don't have any issues with any other programs.

I have just downloaded the latest v5.3 installer of NeatImage Pro+, and the program just won't work. The installer works, but the actual program won't startup. All I get is an "Abnormal program termination" error.
If I go back to install v5.1, then I'm OK. I run Windows XP Home with all the latest service packs, upgrades, patches, etc. I don't have any issues with any other programs.

No, this is not known issue.
Please submit a bug report. Also, please send a screenshot and if possible any crash logs to support at neatimage.com so that we could analyze, reproduce and diagnose the trouble.
