Profile for Auto ISO ?

Post by NguTDung »

EXIF's ISO value is Auto, so how I can use the downloaded profile of Canon A95 (ISO=50,100,200,400) ?

Only manually in this case. Unfortunately, Canon does not always provide information about used ISO rate so the only way to correctly work with such AUTO images is to build noise profiles using the input images themselves.

In that case, could I use: Open Best Matching Profile Menu ?

You could but this would not produce an accurate match.

Hi,
the correct ISO-Value is in the "Canon Camera Settings 2 Tags" as Exif.CanonCs2.ISOSpeed (find this under http://www.exiv2.org/tags-canon.html).
I hope that the NITeam change Neat Image, so that if the exif iso-value=auto Neat Image read the correct ISOSpeed from the CanonCS2 Tags.

Hi,

Unfortunately I have no image samples that contain correct value in that second field. Could you send me a sample image with such an encoding please?

Thank you,
Vlad
