Neat Image and Cropped Images

Are NI results degraded in any way if an image is cropped before applying NI? I generally shoot raw and crop and apply some adjustments using Nikon Capture before saving as a high quality jpeg and applying NI. I then apply sharpening as a last step.

Also, if you have any suggested improvements to my workflow, please let me know.

I think saving intermediate files in JPEGs is the most damaging part of the workflow. Neat Image can work with any images, cropped and/or adjusted provided you do both profiling and filtration in the same stage in the workflow. Cropping usually doesn't affect noise at all, but JPEG compression does. I would recommend using TIFFs as intermediate files.
