Hi I am new to the Neat Image Software. I have installed the demo version so that I can get familiar with the processing. From this I have a question:
When I applied a filter to an image, the image looked good but I was surprised how the size of the image on the disk was reduced. My original image as more than 2mb and after the filter was applied it was less tham 1mb. Is this caused by a limitation of the demo system? I need to retain the images to about 2.5mb as I supply them to other people who will blow the picture up by 1600%.

There are two effects here:
1) the file size becomes smaller because there is less noise in the image; JPEG compresses better if there is less noise;
2) the Demo edition has a limitation, it saves JPEGs with a fixed quality value; in non-Demo editions, you can adjust this value to make resulting JPEG files larger or smaller.
