I used to discard images with high noise, thinking that it was too much like hard work to improve.
I had some great (compositionally) images from a recent wedding shoot that were very noisy. I really wanted to do something with these so I took a (sceptical) look at neat image.
UNVBELIEVABLE!
10/10... very effective, and very intuitive to use. (I am not much for reading instruction manuals
) and got it working within 5 mins.
The profile (Olympus E1) is excellent.
I have not only used it for the high ISO shots, but also images I would not say there was a lot of noise... it just polishes them off nicely.
