Workflow - NI before or after levels & sat?

I regularly adjust the levels and saturation of my pics in photoshop. Which is more effective: to do NI before or after levels & saturation?

Note---> 1. If adjust levels & sat in RAW, then NI is necessarily after that step in my workflow. But, scanned images come straight into PS so could be either way round.

Note---> 2. I normally profile every individual picture because it doesn't take long and I usually end up fine-tuning anyway. So, loading&saving profiles is not a step in my workflow.

Taking into account your Note 2, it doesn't matter whether you apply NI before or after levels & saturation if you build and use noise profiles in the same step in your workflow.
