Will there be a stand alone version of NeatImage for the Mac?

I am just starting out, and haven't decided if I can afford Adobe software yet. ;-)

Thanks,

Dazza.

It may be possible in the future versions of Neat Image /Mac. At the moment we can only offer a plug-in version. BTW, Photoshop Elements is quite affordable and it will run the Neat Image plug-in too.

Wow, quick response. Thanks.

I know it seems that Mac users only use Photoshop or Photoshop elements, but I was just looking to see if there was any other choice.

Assuming from your response that the plug-in will run equally well under the elements or full versions of the application?

I am using a macbook with Intel processors, and believe that although neatimage uses the Universal code, that Photoshop elements 4 for the mac may not be quite there yet. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Sorry for all the questions, but I am new to all this.

Cheers,

Dazza.

As far as I know, Elements 4 are still not universal. Still, Neat Image will run in Elements just fine. You can download Elements tryout and Neat Image Demo plug-in to check how they work together.
