NEF-Files and Neat-Image

Hello, I'm from Germany.

I hope my english is not too bad. I bought Neat Image 5.8 Pro+. The first try with this program I get good results. Since a few days I have big problems. If I open the jpg file of my Nikon D70/D70s (ISO 1250) and work with them I get good but small (photos-file-size) results . If I open the same photo as NEF and work than with Neat-Image I get no good results. What kind of mistake I did/do. Did somebody translate the instructions in german. Maybe I will find the answer their.

If you work with NEF files in Photoshop, please make sure you use the Quick start guide for the plug-in version of Neat Image. Please pay special attention to selecting a noisy but flat and featureless area in the step 3 in that guide. The area should not be all black and all white.
