Neat Video & Neat Image community

Hi guys,

Just frame grabbed a load of images from my HDV footage using VLC and it saves in PNG format. I wanted to run these captures through NI but it doesnt support them.

Any chance of this in the future?

We do not plan PNG support at this time.

To process many PNG files, you can:
- convert them all to TIFFs using some suitable converter (this shound't be difficult);
- use a tool like Neat Batch to convert images on the fly and process them in NI;
- for better filtration results, use Neat Video (instead of Neat Image) to process video data.

Hey Vlad, already own NV but it was only 200 frames I wanted so easier to use NI instead of processing the full 3 hours of HDV.
