White line around selection

Using CS3, I made a selection, then used Neat Image. I ended up with a thin white line around the selection. I tried several ways to eliminate it, with no success. How do I get rid of it?

I could try to help if you sent me a sample image (PSD) and instruction on how to reproduce the effect by e-mail.
