NeatImage's Contrast

Hello.
I appreciate the depth of this utility. I think that this program takes away a lot of the original photos' contrast, however--and I end up having to Burn/Dodge and auto-adjust with layers after having used NeatImage.
Could future versions of this program correct this deficiency? This is my main gripe. PS's smart blur, though ancient, at least maintains original contrast and color levels...

I guess something is going wrong in the workflow if that happens. I have never seen any change in contrast of processed images. Could you provide a reproducable example please?

I've processed thousands of images with NI and have never seen any contrast degradation.Strange problem.
