Plans to use GPU processing for NeatImage calculations?

Would it make for faster processing for NeatImage calculations to use the GPU (if video card is reasonably up to date and powerful) rather than using the CPU?

In addition to Photoshop CS4, other programs such as Media Viewer Pictomio are harnessing the power of GPUs. This is clearly a trend as increasingly powerful GPU's are becoming more commonplace (and less costly) than ever.

If the answer is yes, will you be working to implement this (optinal?) feature?

Thanks,

Dan

We are considering this option for future development. The field of GPU calculation (technology, programming tools, standards, etc.) is not very well developed yet, so it may take some time to make it all efficient enough (not just in terms of calculation speed, but for example in terms of quality and reliability - I guess you will not want to lose that for the sake of sheer speed improvement). Anyway, we are considering this as an option. Thank you for the suggestion. It is in the wish list.

Kind regards,
Vlad
