I just downloaded NI this afternoon and I'm so excited at the wonderful way I can correct my photos. I've been going through a lot of them to see the difference---WOW!
Sometimes I get a message from Auto profile that there is no place to sample. What do I do then? Also I get "area not uniform in Y (or Cr or Cb) channels. What are these?

If Auto Profile says there is no place to sample, try to select an area manually. If there is no suitable areas in this image, try another one, produced by the same camera in the same camera mode, and then process the original image using the built noise profile.
When it says area is not uniform, make sure there are no details of any kind in the area. If you see that the area is flat and uniform then you can just ignore that message.
