Noise level overall profile, channel components

What is the difference between noise level overall profile and channel components in profile viewer, when picture is black and white.
Overall profile = 3.54
Channel components (Y channel) = 3.11
For me these two value has to be equal.
Please if someone know why is like that and what exactly these two values present, tell me.
