Hi,
I am new to this program and just started to use it today. I follow what the guide says to do but when I click on auto profile, it says the selected area is small do I want to continue...
What does this mean? I have tried using a couple differnt photos and it keeps coming up with that information.
Any help is appreciated.

It means that Auto Profile could automatically only a small area suitable for analysis (it should be flat featureless area without details and with visible noise). You can either proceed and let Neat Image use this small area (which is okay), or manually select a larger area (again, it should be featureless) and click Auto Profile button again.

This is no bug, this is normal behaviour of the program. It simply informs you that the small area has been found and if you manually select a larger one then the resulting noise profile may be more accurate.
