Image cut off

I've loaded a large image file that represents an image 7800 pixels long and part of it is cut off on the NI viewer.
WinXP, Athlon 3200+, 2 Gig RAM

At which zoom level do you observe that? Does this affect the output image? Does the final output image saved to a file contain the whole image anyway?

I saw the effect at all zoom levels that I checked, up to about 50% and it happened repeatedly after closing and re-opening NI, but it went away after I bought the program and ran it from Photoshop, so maybe it was something to do with the demo version.
