[solved] "could not auto save" (write privileges)

I have long been using Neatimage over Linux with Wine - it works wonderfully well.
Today, I encountered a "could not auto save" error. Over a whole batch of images, each image is processed and at the end of each, Neatimage moves to the next after having given the "could not auto save" status to the image it just finished processing.
I solved the problem - the user who was executing Neatimage simply did not have sufficient write privileges on the image files.
