Hello,
i have found a second bug in the Profiling workflow.
I had done this:

At first i loaded an image and pushed the "Autoprofile" Button.
Neat image said profile Quality is 93%.

When i use the Batch Profiler, the Image was profiled with 41% profilequality!
Also the noise sample is very different from the manual made profile.

I had done this with over 120 Images the Batch Profiler has an Error-Rate
of 40%

The Batch Profiler expects images of specific type, it cannot be used to process regular photos. Using it on regular photos will typically produce less than optimal results.

Which photos do profile?

Thank you,
Vlad

Ah, that is the reason, i guess the Profile expects calibration targets,
i profiled regular images like it is possible with the manual method.

It is possible to update this in a Future Version of Neat image
to choose in the Batch Profiler between Calibration Target and Regular
Image (maybe a checkbox or drop down menu for example) ?

it would be very nice, because it is very important to me (i have only Regular images, - the camera doesnt exist anymore)

The Batch Profiler has a different purpose, it is designed to prepare a set of profiles using shots of the Calibration Target.

There may be other solutions in the newer versions. Please wait for the next version, it is not far away now.

Please note the Batch Profiler in 7.0 now adds the quality value to the profile's file name.

Hope this helps,
Vlad
