Neat Video & Neat Image community

Can anyone help? I have just purchased and downloaded the pro Photoshop plug in version of Neat Image. I can process 8 bit tiff images with Neat Image but I can't use it on 16 bit tiff images. The editing software I use is Paintshop Pro X2. When I try to use NI on 16 bit tiff files the reduce noise option on the NI tab is greyed out. Why is this?

Paintshop Pro X2 makes that menu gray because Paintshop Pro X2 itself does not support 16-bit images in such external plug-ins. It is a limitation of Paintshop Pro X2 itself.
