NeatImage 7.4 for Aperture stalls

I am very happy with this plugin (for Aperture 3.4.5 on Mountain Lion 10.8.4), but often (with B/W?), after creating the "neated" image, it makes the application stall. If I try to apply more editings to the the photo, it goes "clonk, clonk" and stays there. I must quit Aperture and reboot it. After that everything is OK

Did you observe anything like that with the previous version (7.3) of the plug-in?
Is this always reproducible with one specific image? If that is so, could you send it such an image to support by e-mail for direct tests please?

I could use version 7.3 only for a few hours, immediately substituted by 7,4, so I wouldn't know.
I think (but simply think) I have noticed the problem when applying the plugin to BW old scanned photos. Many of them.
Now I will be more careful to check in which conditions the problem arises, and will let you know. But I don't have many photos left to "neat".
[EDIT] Ok, I have sent to support a photo which reproduced (ONLY ONCE on 4) the problem
