Neat Video & Neat Image community

Hi, I use Neat Image since a few years, now I have a new computer and want to install on it.
To download it, and upgrade to v 8, seeems I must choose Standalone OR Plugin.
I have mostly run NI directly from Photoshop CC, yet on my purchase from 2013 ver 7 it says Standalone.
How is this working?
Can the standalone also be used as a Photosdhop plugin, or what?

The standalone cannot be used as a plug-in.

However, you can upgrade both standalone and plug-in that you currently have in your account from v7 to v8. Please log on to your account to find the upgrade options.
