I am unable to run the demo version of NeatIMage on my Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon, 64 bit, system.
I have downloaded NeatImageSL.Demo.Intel64.tgz and unpacked it to NeatImageSL.Demo.Intel64.run. When I try to execute this, by double-clicking on the .run file, I am asked for an administration password (which I assume is meant to be my sign-on password). After entering my password nothing else happens, to the best of my knowledge.
Where is the documentation describing how to install and use the demo software under Linux?
Demo version does not start in Linux MInt 18.3 Cinnamon, 64 bit
Re: Demo version does not start in Linux MInt 18.3 Cinnamon, 64 bit
Please try to start it from terminal:
sudo ./NeatImageSL.Demo.Intel64.run --mode console
Thank you.
sudo ./NeatImageSL.Demo.Intel64.run --mode console
Thank you.

Yes, of course, that is intuitively obvious - if you happen to be a technical support employee of ABSoft. For the rest of the population, would it not be a good idea to place this information somewhere on your website? And if it is already there, why not make it somewhere that is less obscure?
