Use Neat Video For DVD

Post by kgbrooklyn » Sun Jul 17, 2016 3:57 pm

Hi all,

I recently applied Neat video to my project, with great results. When I exported to DVD, the quality ended up looking really bad. Is it possible that Neat could be contributing to the blurred, poor quality of the DVD?

Should I apply Neat to the mpeg SD file after it has been compressed instead?

I would not apply Neat Video after the video has already been compressed. Repeated re-compression degrades the visual quality and should be avoided.

I recommend to check the compression settings in the output settings of your project. If preview looks good in your host application, but the output video file looks bad, then the most likely cause is the poor quality of output compression.
