I have a question if there’s any way to speed up rendering with my environment,
or what is the best setting to gain the effective rendering speed on NeatVideoV5 if possible.
The timeline is 1920x1080 59.94i and every clip needs to be denoised.
Also both of the timeline and the final result are set as interlaced so I use interlace mode.
On the Performance tab of Preferences,
I selected “Use GPU only” and 4 of my GPUs (GTX1080Ti) are recognized
and I checked the box 2 of them.
As a result the current speed is just 2.5fps.
The environment is:
Windows10 Pro for WorkStation 64bit
CPU Intel Xeon(R)CPU E5-2697v3 @2.6GHz 2.6GHz ( 2 processor )
memory: 128GB
GPU GTX 1080 Ti (mounted inside of PC)
Video editing software : Mistika Boutique8.8.2
NeatVideo v5.10
Any fast rendering tips?
Thank you!
Fast rendering with GPU - any tips?
Re: Fast rendering with GPU - any tips?
I see you use an older version. Please update the plug-in to the most recent version available in your account.
Then please open the same dialog in Preferences and go to Optimize Settings and run the test there. Please then post the results of that test.
Thank you,
Vlad

Re: Fast rendering with GPU - any tips?
Hi Vlad, thank you for the reply.
As you advised, I updated the latest version and tested the same dialog
through Optimize Settings and run the test.
This time I used all of 4 GPUs.
As a result again it was about 2.5fps despite the estimation said 30fps.
Any other matter to consider in this situation?
Thank you.

Re: Fast rendering with GPU - any tips?
Please post the log from Optimize Settings tool.
Regarding speed of render in the host application, please see this article. It may be a limitation of the host application itself. Perhaps some of the measures mentioned in the article will help.
Thank you,
Vlad

Thank you.
It may be a good idea to dedicate two GPUs to the host application and the other two GPUs to Neat Video alone.
This way you can help both application and Neat Video to do their part of the work easier.
At least it is worth trying such a combination to see if the render speed improves.

Ok I will try to compare.
And do you see any problem from the log?
Please let me know when you find some issues there.

Re: Fast rendering with GPU - any tips?
No, the log looks fine and the results seems adequate for those GPUs.
