Neat Video & Neat Image community

So I've been wondering, the noise pops up mostly in shadow areas when there is not enough light, but in highlights the noise is not present, yet applying the reduction decreases the detail over all areas where that's not necessary, I know that I could mask it and keyframe the plugin, but that's quite a hassle. Is there an easy way to make the plugin focus on the shadow areas only and leaving the highlights as they are?
