As someone who is completely unaffected by this change to allow usage with Apple M1, I have to ask those who keep asking about its release, or even complaining that there is no date given: would you be happy to receive the update in anything less than fully-operational condition???
Not sure there has been too much complaining?
As for "less then fully-operational condition???" - I have no idea what that means, so I cannot respond.
The plug-in for Resolve and the plug-in for OFX have just been updated to support M1. You can download the updated versions from your account.
Please see the full news post for more details.
Other plug-ins, including the FCP plug-in, are under development now and will be updated as soon as all technical issues are resolved.
Not yet. The last time I checked, Adobe had not yet prepared the tools necessary to update plug-ins for the new M1 architecture and for the new versions of their applications. Hopefully they will prepare that soon.
Not yet. This is still in the works. It takes time because of the changes in the recent versions of FCPX that require a significant redesign of the plug-in itself besides just adding support for M1.
