Premiere Pro Performance

Post by parvardigar »

How to enhance Premiere Pro performance?
It is when I drag Neat into the timeline - and the build that I get the spinning circle / or Premiere Pro crashes.
I then need to start over again....
In this experimental work to learn how to use the application the film segment is 40 seconds.
As I work I keep getting information packets suggesting what needs to be done to complete the work.
One packet in summation:
Premiere provodid Neat Video with frames in low resolution.
To correct in Progam Monitor:
1. Playback Resultion: Full
2. Paused Resolutio: Full
3. High Quality Playback: Enabled
If reference monitor is open, set it to work in full resolution

Another attached info packet....
Thanks for any advise

That issue may be caused by many reasons. There is an article about those possible reasons on the side of Premiere that may produce such an outcome.

However as a first step I recommend to create a fresh new test project with just one clip (please use one from this page) and with just one effect (Neat Video) applied to that clip.
Will it also show that message?

Please check that and let me know.

Thank you,
Vlad

Thank you for the insightful comments.

With a fresh project using the test kit video as suggested - using an appropriate noise reduction - I then did the apply.
There were no info comments.

A successful test.

Thank you.

Please now try to add one of your clips to that test project and then add Neat Video to your clip to see if that still works.
