I've recently moved to M1 Max and was having an issue with Neat Video not loading properly. It was for a while and then had issues. I was recommended to reinstall and did so. I also updated to FCPX 10.6.3 from FCPX 10.6.2. I've been using Neat Video on some VHS transfers. The last couple of projects I've had issues. Upon rendering some portions are glitchy. Looks like the frames are getting jumbled a bit. After a lot of tinkering I narrowed it down to Neat Video and when I disable it the problem is gone. These are longer form videos. Like 2hrs+. Is this a known issue by chance? I'm on M1 Max laptop macOS Monterey 12.4 32GB RAM. I'm working with Apple Pro Res 422 720x486 29.97 progressive NTSC footage.

v5.5.2 (SR) glitchy renders in FCPX 10.6.3 with SD progressive footage

Yes, it is a known bug of FCPX 10.6.2 and 10.6.3 described in this page. There are two known workarounds at this time. Apple is working on this issue now.

From what I can tell we are still waiting for solution for this? Thanks!

No, we are not waiting anymore, because Apple has released 10.6.4 with a fix to that problem.
