. Like many, I also have old grainy VCR home movies to first convert then restore as much as possible. I've been looking over this website and am confused as to what to buy. It seems like there are many options and you have to be an expert to choose the right one? Kind of putting the cart before the horse.My basic questions to get started on this journey are (remember, just home, easy PC use)...
1) What's a good, EASY, conversion setup to digitize tapes. I've see good things about Elgato?
2) Good, EASY, video editing software? Or, is Neat Video all I need. I'm talking about trimming, adding captions, etc.
3) As stated above, what do I need from Neat Video?
4) I'm an (OLD LOL) musician and some taped material could use a sound improvement. I understand this software doesn't touch sound(?) Suggestions?
