After Effects CS5.5 Epic Footage Resolution Issue
Posted: Wed Dec 28, 2011 12:53 am
I have already sent an email to tech support, but I thought I would post my issue here in case anyone else reading has had this problem.
I am working with Epic 5K footage, specifically 5120 x 2560. The Neat Video dialog box shows a resolution of 2560 x 1280, exactly half. It will not let me view 1:1 sections. Even if I zoom in to 200%.
I was hoping to maybe fool the plug-in by using a nested comp that had been cropped to HD size. The plugin showed the correct resolution, but the actual footage doesn't match what I see in the dialog box. Also, it will not show any other frames beside the one I originally picked to use. In other words you cannot RAM preview any other frames.
My system is Lion 10.7.2 on a new Mac tower (2 x 2.66 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon).
Thanks,
Phil
