Does Neatvideo work with AMD videocards? OpenGL?

Post by VideoRookie » Sun Jul 29, 2012 2:24 pm

I am using NeatVideo v3.2 with Premiere CS6. Recently i was trying the film blending technique with some footage, repeating the footage on 3 video tracks. On top of it i had an adjustment layer with the neatvideo filter.
I exported it to H264 with Adobe Media Encoder. While waiting i just turned off my LCD. Later i was checking the status, but my screen stayed black.
It happened that my new (7 weeks old) Asus GTX670 went defective by this task. It did not survive my 1st videoediting within 2 months

My question short...while sending the card back and reconsidering the card...does Neat Video also work with AMD videocard and using OpenGL instead of CUDA?
It seems that CS6 also supports OpenGL now..but just not sure how much.

Thanks for the advice/info.

At this time, Neat Video supports only CUDA, but we also do test OpenCL support. However if you want a card that works now, I recommend to choose one with CUDA support.
