I have tried Neat Video for a clip with a lot of noise. It's a quite dark clip with the actors stand in front of a dark curtain, filmed in a theatre. They are lit by spotlight so their faces are much brighter then everything else. When I use the neat video on the clip it does an incredible good work and removes most of the noise except for their faces which are almost left unchanged. What can I do? Anyone have any ideas how to reduce the noise in their faces as well?
I recommend to manually fine-tune the noise profile using some bright areas. This will make the noise profile more accurate and will allow the filter to process those bright areas better.
