This is often a matter of personal preference. I recommend to try different settings from 80 to 100 to choose the level that achieves good compression yet preserves visual quality of the image. Again, the image perception is quite subjective so try to evaluate the results using your own eyes.

If you set up Neat Image as an external editor in LR according to the instruction from the section 10 of the user guide of Neat Image Standalone, then Neat Image should save the output files with the same name as the input files (overwriting the input files), so you will not receive any “.filtered” ...

Hopefully soon. The update requires more than just M1 support so it takes a bit longer than expected.
We are working on that now.
For now it is possible to use it in PS 2021 running in Rosetta mode.
