I have just purchased PE 6 and am running it under Leopard. I have downloaded the Neat Image demo plugin. What is hanging up my purchase of a full version is I don't understand if I can do batch processing of RAW/JPG files.
What would I purchase and how would this work? I have read your documentation and searched your website and I apologize but I can't get a clear answer. If it must run standalone that is fine; no different from SilkyPix, as long as I can do it.
Thank you.
PhotoShop Elements 6 and Batch Processing
PSE 6 has a very limited support for batch processing in general, so it is not Neat Image plug-in who is limiting the batch processing in PSE 6. Neat Image Pro plug-in can be used in action-based batches in regular Photoshop, but PSE doesn't support actions.
There are two ways to do batch processing with NI on Mac now:
1) using Photoshop and NI Pro plug-in /Mac;
2) using Windows (new Mac can run Windows too) and Neat Image /Win (it is available as standalone that can process batches);
I hope we will be able offer a native Mac standalone in the future as well.
Hope this helps,
Vlad
